Description:
	Tied House can be a little noisy, but it's got some
	features that make up for that-- most notably a wide
	assortment of California Cuisine style items and, for
	those who like such things, great locally brewed beer.

	Most of the menu runs to grilled meats and fish,
	often spiced - BBQ ribs, blackened catfish, tequila prawns,
	a range of burgers and sandwiches, pasta, jambalaya.

	Vegetarians, no fear-- from the baked brie or black-bean
	nacho appetizers to the fire-roasted veggie sandwich,
	gardenburger, or pasta primavera, you'll find something
	you'll like.  Non-drinkers, well, they have excellent
	bottled rootbeer (though I wish they'd make their own!)
	and various non-alcoholic beers.

	KW was last at Tied House a couple of years ago.
	
Directions:
	Freeway: Take your favorite route to 101 to Shoreline, 
	and head towards El Camino.  After you cross over
	Central Expressway (immediately after!), take a 
	left onto Villa.  Tied House is a few blocks down
	Villa, about halfway between Shoreline and Castro
	Street.  Be nice making your turn-- the police 
	station is right at the intersection of Shoreline
	and Villa!  Tied House tends to park up in the
	evenings, so think about parking on the street
	a block or so away.

	Transit:  Very easy walk from Mountain View Caltrain
	stop.  By bus, I'd say get off one or two stops past
	Castro but before Shoreline, and walk down the scenic
	streets past the library and the park, wending your
	way toward Tied House.  If you want a straight shot,
	go for Castro, not Shoreline-- Shoreline is missing 
	some sidewalks in the direction you'd be headed.
