Description:

Everybody seems to rave about Kirin and its relative Shin Hua.
They do Szechuan-Hunan food, mostly spicy and garlicky but not too greasy,
and totally different from any other Szechuan place I've been to.
Many noodle dishes, good vegetarian choices.

Elaine says:
Kirin on Solano avenue has the best Chinese food I've had in a long
time. Its a large restaurant and should be able to accomodate a large group.
They have these salmon spinach egg rolls to die for. 

Kabuki-West last went to Kirin in February 2004.

From I-80 East in Berkeley:  Take the Gilman St. Exit,
	North (Left) on San Pablo, Turn Right on Solano, goto 1767

From Martin Luther King Drive in Berkeley:
	MLK North, Left on The Alameda, Left on Solano, goto 1767

BART?  It's about 1.8 miles from North Berkeley BART.
	It looks like the 7, 15, 21, and 43 busses go to some part of Solano 
	from one of the Berkeley BART stations.
