El Calderon is located at the corner of Calderon and Church streets
in Mountain View in a small strip mall.  A small mom and pop operation,
they've been there for at least 20 years.  
The food is Mexican and Salvadorean, which is not as spicy as Mexican food,
but it tastes good. The prices are inexpensive, so the budget watchers
will have no problem.

I (Carole) always order the tamarind juice, which I think is delicious. 
I've never gone away from this place being disappointed.

Kabuki-west has been to El Calderon a Long Time Ago, and it somehow fell
off the radar.  I remember liking it when we were there.

Directions:
From El Camino Real northbound coming from Highway 85:
	At the Jack in the Box, turn right onto Calderon.
	At the stop sign, look across the street and to your right.
	Park in the strip mall.
	El Calderon is on the end towards El Camino Real.
According to one online map, El Calderon is 0.4 mile from El Camino Real.

From the 22 bus that runs along El Camino Real
	From Highway 85, the bus stop is before the Jack in the Box,
	by the Small World complex of shops.
	Follow the same route as given for the car directions.

From 101
	Take Highway 85 south.
	Exit at El Camino Real - North.
	Follow the El Camino Real directions.
OR
From 101
	Take the Shoreline Blvd. exit.
	At the end of the off ramp, turn right (away from the bay).
	Take Shoreline past Villa and California streets.
	Turn left onto Church Street.
	Take Church past Castro Street.
	Continue to Calderon.
	Go slightly past Calderon and turn left into the strip mall.
	Park as quickly as you can because the restaurant is right there.

From 280
	Take Highway 85 northbound.
	Exit at El Camino Real - North (second exit from your direction).
	Follow the El Camino Real directions.
