KW hasn't had a Cuban restaurant since Jose's closed.
Laura's really enjoyed eating there, 
and the reviews on the net seem to be quite positive.

The typical dinners are meat, chicken, or seafood with
rice, garlic, peppers, garlic, sauces, garlic, and black beans or plantains.
Appetizers include fried plantains or yucca, salads, and soups.
There are a couple of vegetarian choices, including tamales and omelettes,
plus a variety of different beans.
Prices look like $12-15 for dinners, plus apps and drinks.

Kabuki-West went to Habana Cuba in 4/23/03.
The food was excellent, staff were friendly,
and we pigged out on apps and drinks and spent about $25/per.
The one catch was that they have live music several nights a week,
including Wednesday, which was cheerful but too loud for conversation.
So it's probably a better Thursday KW venue.

Directions: 238 Race St. San Jose,  between Park and W. San Carlos.

From 101:  Take 101 South to 87/Guadeloupe South.
	Exit Park Avenue West (right, away from downtown.)
	Turn left on race, and it's on the left.
	They say they have parking.

From Downtown SJ: Take W. San Carlos about 1 mile past downtown,
	Turn RIGHT on Race, about half a block on the right.
