Time: Wednesday, August 15th, 7:30pm Place: El Camino Mongolian Bbq 3380 El Camino Real (at Nobili) Santa Clara CA 408-241-2413 http://www.mymeemers.com/mongohome.htm (fan site) Description: Vegetarians, don't worry-- this is not your typical barbeque. While there are certainly lots of dead critters shaved thin to pack into your mix-it-yourself stir fry, there are lots and lots of veggies too: greens, carrots, tomatoes, pineapple, mushrooms, peppers, bean sprouts, etc. Team up with another two or three vegetarians and you won't even be sharing the grill with a meat dish! Meatitarians, just take two bowls, one for the veggies, one for the meat. Don't worry, that's the way they seem to do it here. [Review by SRC] KW has never been to El Camino Mongolian Barbeque. Directions: Freeway: El-C-M-BB is on El Camino at Nobilii, between Lawrence Expressway and Bowers, a little closer to Lawrence. Take your favorite route to Lawrence, and turn "south" on El Camino. Pass a light at Flora Vista, and watch for Nobilii coming up soon. The restaurant is on the right, ie in the direction you're going. Transit: The 22 bus goes down El Camino for longer than most people want to ride it. There is some kind of connector from the Lawrence Caltrain station to El Camino, but I'm not sure of the exact details. It's a pretty long walk up to El Camino from the Caltrain station!
